Droitwich Archery Shooting
The UK Government announcement on Sunday 1st November brought in a lockdown for England, lasting as a minimum from November 5th to December 2nd.
In the accompanying guidelines, both indoor and outdoor archery ranges are specifically included in the list of venues which are required to close. Details here.
As a result of this, pending any change due to consultation between Archery GB and UK Government, There will be no shooting at either Droitwich High School or our outdoor venue, Six Gold End, for the duration of the lockdown. In addition, Six Gold End will be unavailable on Wednesday 4th November. This is to allow us to clear the field and take some targets in for repair, while also complying with the distancing rules in force until the lockdown begins.
The booking system will reflect this, with shooting sessions being unavailable between November 4th and December 2nd. If the dates or rules change, we will contact members and let them know.
In the mean time, please all stay safe and keep doing those reversals!
