Hedge Planting Completed

Planting of the hedge along the whole length of the side boundary at Six Gold End went ahead on Saturday 7th April. A mixed hedge of hawthorn, blackthorn, dogwood and holly has been planted. All of the plants are staked and protected by rabbit guards (plastic wraps not rabbits with torches!). The planting had been programmed to continue into Sunday, but the Saturday teams were so efficient that the job was done by the end of the day. A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard on Saturday and to those that offered to help on Sunday.

It was a bit wet at the start of the day.

Not much leaning on shovels went on ... honestly!!
